World Environment Day is an awareness platform on a global scale focusing on urgent matters such as marine pollution, sustainable consumption, animal crime and of course not to mention global warming. With over 50 years of landmarked history, the combined efforts of people and participating countries has allowed this movement to help repair and restore our ecosystems.

We celebrate WED on Saturday 5th June 2021 this year, the team at will be reducing litter and plastic waste by collecting and recycling materials from our UK coastlines starting at Severn Beach, Bristol on Sunday 6th June 2021 going further south towards Devon and Cornwall over the next weeks and months. Special thanks to Surfers Against Sewage for sending us bags and gloves to carry out these tasks safely.

We will update our social media channels with our progress.

Thanks for reading, and if you would like to see more information regarding  WED, visit the official website here:

Kind regards,

Team CoconutBamboo
